St. Paul reminds us, “If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honoured, all rejoice together with it” (1 Corinthians 12:26). Your gift gives practical expression to this truth by strengthening both your parish and the wider Church. In this way, we are truly Stronger Together.

This year, our St. Monica Project Advance goal is $80,000.00. These funds will allow us to care for our parish buildings and grounds, ensuring they remain welcoming, safe, and effective spaces for worship, formation, and fellowship. Below are some of the key projects your contribution will help make possible.

1. Landscaping the grotto area & the backyard of the rectory.
2. Upgrading of the parish security system.
3. Line painting of the parking lot.
4. Carpet cleaning in the church.
5. For the church hall: A large format 65” to 75” display wired into the existing video distribution systems so that it can display either text or moving pictures. This is to be placed on the back wall of the hall between the two acoustical tiles.
6. For the sanctuary: Two 120 inch displays mounted either side of the altar using the current short throw projection technique onto screens that will reflect the maximum ambient light back into the congregation for the text of the hymns being sung. While these will do video content the maim application is considered to be text to the hymn
7. For the main sanctuary & the entrance way to the church: Updating the lighting system for both the narthex (or the foyer) & improving the lighting coverage in the nave of the church, which will require considerable labour to move the existing pews. This is a substantial piece of work requiring a lift that is capable of reaching over 30 feet as the working height and considerable application in regards to the existing lights. Overall, this will improve the performance of the lighting as well as updating it.
