RCIA
About“Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you;” - 1 Peter 3:15
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the process through which adults are invited to explore the Catholic faith, grow in relationship with Jesus Christ, and prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). It is open both to those who have never been baptized and to baptized Christians from other traditions who are discerning full communion with the Catholic Church.
At St. Monica’s, our RCIA gatherings are led by coordinators Jeff and Jigs Abiera and meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Each session includes prayer, teaching, and open conversation, providing a welcoming space to ask questions and discern the next step in faith.
If you are curious about becoming Catholic, completing your sacraments, or simply learning more about what the Church believes, you are warmly invited to join us.
